most contributions came by snailmail, 3 were sent by e-mail. various techniques were used.

"I mean, what is an un-birthday present?"
"A present given when it isn't your birthday, of course." Alice considered a little. "I like birthday presents best," she said at last.
"You don't know what you're talking about!" cried Humpty Dumpty. "How many days are there in a year?"
"Three hundred and sixty-five," said Alice.
"And how many birthdays have you?"
"One."
"And if you take one from three hundred and sixty-five, what remains?"
"Three hundred and sixty-four of course."
Humpty Dumbty looked doubtful. "I'd rather see that done on paper," he said.
Alice couldn't help smiling as she took out her memorandum-book, and worked the sum for him:

this tale has been an inspiration for my photography, and now for my first mailart call, of which i am here presenting the documentation for.
the call:" please send me a happy un-birthday card (see up) and add your own birthdate so that i can send you a birthday card back when you're having your birthday."
i have tried to be as precise as possible when reproducing names, addresses and one copy per person of what has been sent to me (due to lack of space and finance)
each piece was a joy to receive-one can imagine the utmost happiness each day a happy un-birthday card was thrown into my hall po box by the postman!
it was great being able to have those 'special days' which seemingly are not considered important because no real fact has been attached to them but which have gotten their importance thus…
For all those who didn't mention their birthdate I would like to wish a happy un-birthday (as many as 364 a year,) and thanks again for participating,
